Kadist: Six Questions with Jota Mombaça

For Jota Mombaça's exhibition THE SINKING SHIP/PROSPERITY at KADIST San Francisco (Oct 2022–Feb 2023), I designed Six Questions — a pamphlet featuring an interview with Mombaça that accompanied the gallery guide. Developed in collaboration with Evirgen Özmen, who created the exhibition identity, the piece offered visitors deeper context on the show's themes and installation process. The work was archived and featured on Contemporary Art Library.

Dream Sequences World Tour

World Tour Sub-Branding

Dream Sequences is a tour branding project in support of Dream Sequences, a book of poetry and photography by Miele Messerly, published by Radio Poster. The work involved designing a full suite of tour collateral spanning 15-18 dates across the US from Summer 2026 through Summer 2027, with a European leg planned for Summer 2028. The collateral was designed to live seamlessly alongside the book, extending Messerly's world into physical and experiential space so that the tour assets feel less like promotional material and more like artifacts from inside the book's universe. The visual identity centers on red as a core brand color chosen for its depth of meaning, representing magic, life and blood, remembrance, and reclamation. The illustration direction draws from references rooted in fantasy and ornate craftsmanship: the costume and set design of David Bowie's Labyrinth, the intricate detail of Italian door knockers, and theater motifs throughout.

Jewel is a breakthrough in Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD) technology, designed by Element Science. It’s designed to protect patients at risk of sudden cardiac arrest with continuous, sleek, and discreet coverage. Despite Jewel’s clinical promise, Element Science was entering a space dominated by outdated vest-based solutions with poor patient compliance and clunky experiences. To succeed, they required a brand that could communicate credibility and care with equal clarity.

The rebrand from Viewstream to Kadiko marks a defining moment in the agency’s evolution—a move toward a more modern, design-forward, and future-focused identity. While Viewstream built its reputation on B2B marketing and digital storytelling, Kadiko represents what comes next: a creative and strategic partner built to bridge brands from where they are today to where they need to go tomorrow. The name itself is inspired by the Arkadiko Bridge—one of the world’s oldest bridges still in use—chosen as a metaphor for lasting connection and progress. It captures the agency’s mission to build bridges between business and creativity, strategy and design, today and the future.

I supported the rebrand of CAST (Community Arts Stabilization Trust), a San Francisco-based nonprofit working to secure and steward affordable creative spaces for artists and cultural workers. Collaborating with Flight Design Co., who led the brand strategy and visual identity, I extended the new brand into digital marketing and designed branded assets to support the launch — with enough flexibility to serve long-term marketing collateral as the organization moves into its next decade.
